I have always been fascinated by men in dapper suits. I am always intrigued by how an individual will spruce up their suit and make it their own with personal touches. When people hear the word dapper they may think of past generations or the style of older men, but for the past few seasons, the dapper style has had a resurgence on the runways and designer collections. One of the brands that I think has done an exceptional job at highlighting the style was Alexander McQueen for their Fall/Winter 2019 Collection.

A lot of what the brand presented had elements of classic and traditional styling but with a new age twist. Some of the most interesting details were how they played with the scale of the prints that they used and I also liked the combination of contrasting fabrics.

Who says pink can’t be manly?

This collection is a worthy investment because most of the pieces have the desired effect of being of the moment and timeless as well, which is a hard task to accomplish.

The contrasting fabrics are a nice touch. The leather adds a bit of rugged allure to the trench coat.
